My latest reads.
In purple I read about Kim Gordon, Mark Ronson and the philosophy of Alain Badiou. And lots of what we call fashion porn. Naked bodies in other words.
In New China New Art, I read about how the scene of art has changed throughout history after the cultural revolution, which I have yet to dig more in to figure out what it really was about. And the conflict between modernism/westernism and the traditional in chinese contemporaries work.
Good reads.
Oh, I'm doing therapy again. Last therapy session for a friend. Then I'm going big. Exhibition coming up, featuring a work I have yet to get started with.
More on that later.

"The incorporation of contemporary art seems artificial to me. It's only pretend, and like all pretense it has only a transitory effect. It isn't nothing, but it is pretend"

Exceprt from Purple Fashion interview by Olivier Zham with Alain Badiou.

I'm not sure I have enough going on in my head to make a response to that myself.
If I have, I'll let you know.
