Ai Wei Wei's "A Study of Perspective: Tian'anmen Square", 1995-2003
For an upcoming group exhibition I've paraphrased it as a comment to his
disappearance since April 3 2011.

it's one of those days. those days where I sit under the fan and contemplate. write nonsense. draw circles over and over again. lit up. inhale. exhale. draw circles. apartment looks like shit. like someone robbed me but found nothing good enough to steal and left it like a mess. circles. i prefer triangles, but I'm drawing circles, over and over again tonight. inhale. exhale. inhale. exhale.
what is this nonsense. what is this crap.
what is this nonsense. what is this crap.

temporary portfolio.
Group exhibition coming up and I felt the need of a platform solely for my artwork.
Any suggestions of other platforms that does not require great knowledge in html codes?

I've mentioned her before, her illustrations never seize to amaze me.
Love her artwork so so so much.
Eri Wakiyama, remember that name.

"In this thoroughy mixed-up, interdependent, mobile and volatile postmodern world clinging to a traditional notion of ethnic identity is impossible. Inasmuch as the stress on ethnicity provides a counterpoint to the most facile forms of postmodernist nomadology, however, we might have to develop a postmodern notion of ethnicity. This postmodern ethnicity can no longer be experienced as naturally based upon tradition and ancestry, on a single origin. Rather, it is experienced as a provisional and partial "identity" which must be constantly (re)invented and (re)negotiated."

Take a minute or two and look at the sky, the ground the people around you. And remember how fucking blessed we are to be able to have the illusion of taking it for granted and that next day surely will come. Because it's not a gift everyone has in this world. It's time for making amends and expressing love to one another. Don't wait another day to appreciate life.
It may come off as cheesy, but it is always, always the darkest before dawn.
I believe the red sun will rise again.
Help save Japan.

mono no aware. hanami.
I've been away in Paris, was there for about 47 hours spread over three days. When I saw cherry blossoms all I did think about was Japan. And I questioned my world at that moment relating to the rest. Something is happening over there, and I was on a a get-away trip. Where is the world heading, and what I can do?
